Greenland Trail 50K, 25K, 8M
May 1, 2010 - 8:00 AM
The Greenland Trail 50K is a trail race located on the front range of Colorado. It was started with the intent to kick off the trail running season by offering a variety of distances to suit your running needs. Run in the Greenland Open Space of southern Douglas County, the Greenland Trail 50K strives to be the premier 50K in Colorado. The race is limited to 550 runners and has filled the last two years. So, please register early!
As of February 2, the race is 65% full.
Please Carpool:
Parking is limited (thus the reason for the runner cap). We encourage carpooling. We are directing runners to the website RideShare.us to find other runners to carpool with. If more people carpool, then we can allow more runners into the race!
1% For The Planet
Colorado Runner Events has joined the global movement 1% for the Planet. 1% for the Planet is a growing group of more than 1,000 businesses that donate at least 1% of their sales to a network of environmental organizations worldwide. 1% for the Planet exists to build and support an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet. Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, owner of Blue Ribbon Flies, started the organization in 2001, and they have raised more than $30 million so far.
